Many scientists have spent endless hours seeing into the distinct types of therapy ready for treating depression as an illness; 'Pet Therapy' has been ended as one of these therapies. Animals have long been recognized as being a distinct force in the medical process.

Dogs notably have a calming and therapeutic ensue on people. They can help individuals to cope with the emotional issues related to their illness. Physical fitness is the capability to function effectively throughout your workday, perform your usual other activities and still have sufficient energy left over to deal with any extra stresses or emergencies which may arise.

What I said. It is not outcome that the real about Physical Therapy Schools. You read this article for information about a person want to know is Physical Therapy Schools.

How is 5 Components of corporeal Fitness

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Physical Therapy Schools.

The components of bodily fitness are:

* Cardiorespiratory (Cr) durability - the efficiency with which the body delivers oxygen and nutrients needed for muscular performance and transports waste products from the cells.

* Muscular drive - the most amount of force a muscle or muscle group can exert in a particular effort.

* Muscular durability - the capability of a muscle or muscle group to perform repeated movements with a sub-maximal force for extended periods of times.

* Flexibility - the capability to move the joints or any group of joints through an entire, normal range of motion.

* Body aggregate - the percentage of body fat a person has in comparison to his or her total body mass.

Improving the first three components of fitness listed above will have a safe bet impact on body aggregate and will effect in less fat. Inordinate body fat detracts from the other fitness components, reduces performance, detracts from appearance, and negatively affects your health.

Factors such as speed, agility, muscle power, eye-hand coordination, and eye-foot coordination are classified as components of "motor" fitness. These factors most influence your athletic ability. Appropriate training can heighten these factors within the limits of your potential. A sensible weight loss and fitness program seeks to heighten or sound all the components of bodily and motor fitness through sound, progressive, mission definite bodily training.

Principles of Exercise

Adherence to safe bet basic rehearsal ideas is important for developing an efficient program. The same ideas of rehearsal apply to every person at all levels of bodily training, from the Olympic-caliber athlete to the weekend jogger.

These basic ideas of rehearsal must be followed.

Regularity

To perform a training effect, you must rehearsal often. You should rehearsal each of the first four fitness components at least three times a week. Infrequent rehearsal can do more harm than good. Regularity is also important in resting, sleeping, and following a sensible diet.

Progression

The intensity (how hard) and/or duration (how long) of rehearsal must slowly growth to heighten the level of fitness.

Balance

To be effective, a program should include activities that address all the fitness components, since overemphasizing any one of them may hurt the others.

Variety

Providing a variety of activities reduces boredom and increases motivation and progress.

Specificity

Training must be geared toward definite goals. For example, habitancy come to be better runners if their training emphasizes running. Although swimming is great exercise, it does not heighten a 2-mile-run time as much as a running program does.

Recovery

A hard day of training for a given component of fitness should be followed by an easier training day or rest day for that component and/or muscle group(s) to help permit recovery. Another way to allow rescue is to alternate the muscle groups exercised every other day, especially when training for drive and/or muscle endurance.

Overload

The work load of each rehearsal session must exceed the normal demands located on the body in order to bring about a training effect.

Cervical stenosis is the health characterized by the narrowing of the spinal canal. It occurs with age as the intervertebral discs starts to lack water article and hardens. The discs can shrink in height and stick out into the spinal canal. Spinal joints also bulge and protrude into the spinal canal. When the spinal canal narrows, the resulting pressure on the spinal cord leads to another health called cervical myelopathy, which affects nerve functions.

Cervical stenosis ordinarily does not have symptoms. If it has industrialized to cervical myelopathy, the outpatient may contact neck and arm pain, weakness, and difficulty in entertaining the arms and legs. Incontinence also occurs in later stages of the disease. Symptoms may appear slowly or build rapidly.

Early detection plays a crucial role in the prevention and rehabilitation of cervical stenosis and cervical myelopathy. Your doctor will achieve a corporeal test and diagnostic tests and advise an Mri (Magnetic Resonance Imaging ) and Ct (Computed Tomography) scan to be able to see the level of narrowing of the spinal canal. You may have to experience other tests for a complete diagnosis.

Depending on the stage of cervical stenosis, treatments may be operative or non-operative. Usually, patients who have severe fragility and pain in the affected areas and difficulty in walking need surgery. Non-operative or conservative treatment, which includes cervical stenosis corporeal therapy, is ideal for mild cases.

Patients should understand that cervical stenosis corporeal therapy would not reduce the narrowing of the spinal canal or bring it back to normal size. The goal of cervical stenosis corporeal therapy is long-term pain administration and increased function that will enable the outpatient to control pain effectively and function ordinarily without having to experience surgery.

Nerve Injuries & Nerve damage Treatment: vigor healing for Restoring Nerve Disease, Nerve Disorders & Peripheral Neuropathy

What I said. It is not outcome that the true about Physical Therapy Schools. You see this article for facts about anyone wish to know is Physical Therapy Schools.

How is Nerve Injuries & Nerve Damage Treatment: vigor medical for Restoring Nerves & Peripheal Neuropathy

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Physical Therapy Schools.

Whether you have a pinched or severed nerve, sciatica, peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy symptoms, stroke or brain damage, a nerve injury creating paralysis, or any loss of physical sensation or movement, nerve damage is an annoying and dehabilitating lasting health that can benefit from vigor healing.

Dr Robert Becker in his book "the Body Electric" was a pioneer in discovering that electromagnet impulses could regenerate neural pathways and restore nerve function. Directed electromagnetic impulses can re invent muscular movement through electrical current stimulation. According to Cbc News, "The functional electrical stimulation rowing machine, industrialized by researchers in Edmonton and England, helps people with disabilities (paraplegics and others) enjoy the benefits of quarterly exercise." Christopher Reeves used electrical muscle stimulation on his legs to preclude atrophy and within his diaphragm to encourage breathing movement and declare lung function. Even the acute pain exacerbated by nerve injury is relieved with focused electrical impulses. Tens (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machines deliver small electrical pulses to the body via electrodes and has comprehensive clinical use for pain relief from nerve damage.

Energy healing is a form of electromagnetic stimulation. According to James L Oschman, "Healing energy, whether produced by a healing gadget or projected from the human body, is vigor of a singular frequency or set of frequencies that stimulates the repair of one or more tissues." vigor healing directed by a healer focuses electromagnetic vigor stimulation into the vigor field and physical body of the client. This replacement of directed electromagnetic frequency stimulation affects the clients cellular molecular theory and the "cascade of activities initiated by such signals may furnish valuable data to cells and tissues, and open channels for the flow of data that coordinates repair processes and for restoring normal function after trauma." vigor healing is non-invasive and there are no clinically documented adverse events in existing literature.

The table below, demonstrating the electromagnetic frequency used for rehabilitation is taken from Sisken & Walker in 1995.

Table 1

Healing effects of specific frequencies (frequency windows of specificity)

Frequency Effects
2 Hz Nerve regeneration, neurite outgrowth from cultured ganglia
7 Hz Bone growth
10 Hz Ligament healing
15, 20, 72 Hz Decreased skin necrosis, stimulation of capillary formation & fibroblast proliferation
25 and 50 Hz Synergistic effects with nerve increase factor

Today healing study has confirmed that the application of directed therapeutic electromagnetic vigor fields 'can turn a stalled healing process into active repair, even in patients unhealed for as long as 40 years' (Bassett 1995). The mechanism by which 'active repair' is initiated probably involves both activation of specific cellular activities and the chance of the channels or circuitry for the natural biological communications required for initiating and coordinating injury repair through the focused electrical impulse stimulation inherent in vigor healing. The independent case study study data: laberious healing Focus: Paralyzed dog's spinal cord nerves, discs and vertebra regenerated published in Dr. Daniel Benor's The International Journal of healing and Caring illustrates the benefits of healing vigor in traumatic nerve injury.

As a healing intuitive and length vigor healer, study continuously confirms the evidence based healing abilities of electromagnetic impulse vigor healing.
Traditional procedures and treatments will at last merge with what we now call alternative medicine, to become the " integrative medicine" of the future. At that time, each client will secure a greater benefit from all healing modalities that are ready to them.

The Gestalt approach to therapy can be termed "phenomenological-existential" as it is implicated with an awareness of the here-and-now, working away from concepts and towards pure awareness (Clarkson, 1989). By the client becoming aware of their thoughts, feelings, etc the goal is for the private to accomplish understanding into the situation under examination. As Yontef (1993) writes, understanding is gained by learning the phenomomenological focusing, experimenting, reporting, and dialogue of the client. The philosophy behind this approach is that most population do not function in the world based on how the world, together with themselves, is, but straight through a filter of self-deception, whereby one does not have a clear photograph of oneself in relation to the world. Living that is not based on the truth of oneself leads to feelings of dread, guilt, and anxiety (Yontef, 1993).

How is Gestalt Therapy And Hypnosis

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Physical Therapy Schools.

The historical antecedents of Gestalt therapy are the experiences of its co-founder, Fritz Perls. Trained as a psychoanalyst, Perls rebelled against the dogmatic style of Freud's approach (as had other famous founders of schools of psychotherapy, Jung and Adler. In the preface to the 1969 edition of "Ego, Hunger and Aggression" Perls wrote of this duration of time as follows, "Started seven years of useless couch life." (Perls, 1969)), and incorporated aspects of holism into the belief that finally the private is responsible for creating his or her existence.

Additionally, the early decades of the 20th century are famous for their refutation of Newtonian positivism and its exchange with phenomenology. These two themes were then combined within the scaffolding of Gestalt science of mind to furnish an approach centred on the individual's relationship to their existence. The buildings that Gestalt science of mind offered was that perception should be considered as the recognition of patterns and relationships in the middle of items in the perceptual world which fulfils the central human need of giving meaning to perceptions, experiences and existence (Clarkson, 1989).

Reductionist approaches could neither list for the richness of perception, and its immediacy (for example, see Koffka, 1935; Gibson, 1966), nor take into list the importance of the observer. This led Perls to the idea that the actual awareness of an private is more trustable than an interpretation of any data that a person might supply a therapist with and is primarily a description of movements in the middle of 'figure' and 'ground'. The shape is the item of attentional focus at any one time, and the ground is the remainder of perceptual awareness. These movements, or 'cycles of experience' can come to be disrupted by being incomplete or unresolved and it is this 'unfinished business' which Gestalt therapy attempts to address. These ideas probably did not constitute a therapeutic approach until 1951 when Perls opened the New York design for Gestalt Therapy, despite the fact that the first recognisable Gestalt therapy book was published in the 1940's (Perls, 1969).

Accompanying this composition of ideas, based on the reasoning of Gestalt psychologists, philosophers (e.g., Lewin, 1952), and politicians (e.g., Smuts), was the basic view of the person as basically healthy, striving for balance, health, and increase (Clarkson, 1989). The unfinished company referred to earlier is seen as an obstacle to these processes, restricting the person's potential to function fully, often termed by Gestalt therapists as 'dis-ease'. Van de Riet (Van de Riet et al., 1980) encapsulates the idea that dis-ease is a consequence when population do not taste themselves as being psychologically and physiologically in equilibrium with their environment.

"As action, contact, option and authenticity describe health in gestalt therapy, so stasis, resistance, rigidity and control, often with anxiety, describe the state called 'dis-ease'"

The stasis, resistance, rigidity, and control forestall graceful flow straight through cycles of experience.

Having briefly outlined the core of Gestalt therapy it is significant to reconsider some of the techniques that Gestalt therapists use in order to reconsider how they might be incorporated into hypnotherapy. Although there are techniques that are intimately connected with a Gestalt approach, there are two caveats we must bear in mind. First, as Berne (1970) noted, gestalt therapy does use any techniques exclusively:

"Dr. Perls is a learned man. He borrows from or encroaches upon psychoanalysis, transactional analysis, and other systematic approaches. But he knows who he is and does not end up as an eclectic. In his option of exact techniques, he shares with other 'active' psychotherapists the 'Moreno' problem: the fact that nearly all known 'active' techniques were first tried out by Dr. J. R. Moreno in psychodrama, so that it is difficult to come up with an customary idea in this regard" (Berne, 1970: 163-4).

Second, that in Gestalt therapy, technique is considered secondary to the relationship developed in the middle of the therapist and the client, as Resnick (1984) writes:

"every Gestalt therapist could stop doing any Gestalt technique that had ever been done and go right on doing Gestalt therapy. If they couldn't, then they weren't doing Gestalt therapy in the first place. They were fooling around with a bag of tricks and a bunch of gimmicks" (1984: 19).

Based on these two caveats we might argue that anything of an 'active' nature which is incorporated into hypnotherapy would constitute Gestalt, or alternatively that without explicit training in the Gestalt client-therapist relationship there is nothing we could do which would be Gestalt. However, as the spirit of Gestalt therapy is very much identified by its use of exact techniques that is the approach that will be taken in the following discussion.

The techniques that are connected with Gestalt therapy are intimately connected to the idea that clients should want to work towards self-awareness straight through a mastery of their awareness processes. This is in distinction to patients who firstly are surely seeking relief from discomfort, although they may claim that they wish to convert their behaviour, and secondly clients who expect that relief will come via the efforts of the therapist. Thus, Gestalt therapy is "an exploration rather than a direct modification of behaviour...the goal is increase and autonomy" (Yontef, 1993). The techniques are modifications and elaborations of the basic question, "What are you experiencing now?" and the instruction, "Try this experiment, or pay attention to that, and see what you come to be aware of or learn" (Zimberoff & Hatman, 2003).

Perhaps the most well known of all techniques that are identified as Gestalt is the empty chair. This is where clients project their representation of a person or an object, or part of themselves into an empty chair and they then present a dialogue in the middle of what is projected into the chair, and themselves. In some cases the client moves in the middle of the chairs, but whether way, the idea is that inner conflicts come to be expressed and so the client heightens their awareness of them. This in turn military the client to take responsibility for their difficulties so that they can make choices to decree the sources of unfinished company (Stevens, 1975). As Becker (1993) writes, this is the whole point of Gestalt, to "take population who are conditioned and automatic and put them in some kind of aegis over themselves."

Similar to the empty chair, another base technique is known as topdog/underdog. A dialogue is performed in the middle of two aspects of the client's personality, the topdog representing the introjecting demander of perfection, expressed by "should" and "must", and the underdog, which is a manifestation of resistance to external demands. straight through the dialogue "resolution, compromise, understanding or permanent disunion becomes possible" (Clarkson, 1989). This is attained by the private becoming aware of their internal battles, which often lead to feelings of guilt, anxiety, and depression.

The Gestaltist focus on awareness is not confined to awareness of cognitive processes, such as dialogue, but also physiological processes straight through a process termed bodywork. This involves the client consciously noting where they taste tension in single situations, or how their pattern of breathing changes. Once aware they can learn strategies to cut these reactions, which have produced both physical and reasoning discomfort.

As Zinker (1978) writes, "this may include the person's awareness of his body, its weight on the chair, its position in space, its itsybitsy sounds and movements." Here the private is taking responsibility for their body and taking charge of choosing how they want to react. Sometimes these tensions are based on a preoccupation with earlier circumstances. If the client is not responding to the current circumstances then they are seen as projecting the past to the present, so old patterns of responding, rather than new, experimental approaches are dominating their life (Parlett & Hemming, 2002). Working to release the physical manifestations of those old patterns can lead to greater engagement and awareness of one's thoughts and feelings (Zimberoff & Hatman, 2003). This approach is also known as establishing sensation function (Clarkson, 1989) and is considered useful for clients who have come to be 'alienated from their senses' or those with narcissistic attributes who have 'experienced it all' (Clarkson, 1989).

The importance of bodywork is made clear by Becker (1993) who suggests that physical expressions are closer to truth because the mind is engaged in deception and sabotage: Perl's basic assumption was that the body and its total processes are somehow former to and bigger than the mind. Gestalt conceives of the mind as an interference, as a way of blocking the total momentum of the organism in some way. Not only that, but the mind is not even the noble part of the organism that we always view it was. For most population the mind and the creations of the mind work against the body. They work against the best interests of the total person.

In line with other psychodynamic approaches, Gestalt therapy includes dream work. The Gestalt position is different to Freud, in that Perls did not think of the unconscious as an inaccessible region of the mind which dreams could supply access to if interpreted correctly - Freud's 'royal road to the unconscious' was Perl's royal road to integration. His view was more in line with Jung, who saw dreams as existential messages for the dreamer. In dream work the client is typically asked to describe the dream in the present tense as if they were experiencing the dream in that moment. From this the client develops an awareness of the existential message and how it consists of projected parts of the self.

The above descriptions of some of the techniques connected with Gestalt therapy should neither be considered exhaustive nor exclusive. As cited earlier, Resnick (1984) surrounded by others clearly believes that Gestalt therapy is not and cannot be tied to single techniques, it is about the relationship in the middle of the client and the therapist.

An prominent part of this relationship is that the therapist is acting to guide the client towards greater self-awareness, responsibility and proprietary of emotions, thoughts, sensations etc in order to unblemished any 'unfinished business' so that s/he may move smoothly straight through cycles of experience. The experienced therapist is able to adapt to the single client in order to accomplish this, relying on a wealth of techniques and skills. This essence of Gestalt therapy allies it more intimately with cognitive behavioural approaches than typical psychodynamic methods because it relies less on interpretation of the client and more on their active participation. It is maybe this that makes it potential to incorporate aspects of Gestalt therapy into hypno-therapeutic practice.

Interestingly Levendula (1963) suggests the view that a Gestalt therapist would be in a more advantageous position if he would incorporate his approach with hypnotic techniques. For example, the Gestalt therapist teaches the increasing of awareness straight through experimental exercises. The hypnotherapists can accomplish this much more surely by directing the patient's attention to come to be sharply aware of an idea or sensation or memory which thereby becomes a "bright Gestalt" while the rest of the perceptual field recedes into a background. The hypnotic state itself corresponds to the Gestalt-background principle, and the Gestalt formation becomes more or less an automatic function of it. ...the composition of Gestalt therapeutic theory with hypnosis enriches both approaches.

From this it is clear that Gestaltists are being advised to incorporate hypnotherapy into their practice. The following consulation will reconsider whether hypnotherapists can introduce aspects of Gestalt therapy into their work.

One of the central tenets of Gestalt therapy is that clients taste events in the present, that is they re-enact past events in the present. By re-living them they can focus on their experiences, both psychological and physiological and thus gain understanding. Awareness was considered "the key to unlock understanding and finally bring behaviour change" (Zimberoff, & Hartman 2003). Bringing the experienced past into the experiential present is one prominent asset of hypnosis.

Through hypnotic age regression, working with dreams etc clients can re-experience events that have occurred at some other time as if they were happening in the here and now. This is not merely a cognitive reliving of a copy of the event, but a fully nuanced resurrection of the experience. As Zimberoff, & Hartman (2003) state, "Keeping the client's awareness on concrete detail is a constant in hypnotic age regressions, because it promotes presentness emotionally and viscerally (emphasis in original). Of equal importance is that the client's awareness can be focused on different aspects of their taste straight through repeated re-experiencing of it, allowing for a detailed, and concrete re-living of the taste in all its customary vigor and from physiological and psychological perspectives. This then fulfils Rosen's (1972) view that "Patients move best when they are moved" (emphasis in original).

It is clear that the Gestalt concern with realistic, present, re-experiencing of events is an prominent aspect of hypnosis. The concerns of Gestalt therapy with direct insight, rather than understanding straight through interpretation would be a novel increasing to hypnotherapy. To include this perspective is a philosophical and conceptual shift rather than a technical one and depends on the therapist's own preferences. However it is quite potential to achieve.

Hypnosis is also useful in intensifying aspects of an experience, by directing the client to pay closer attention to single details. For example, person who wishes to stop smoking might be asked to strongly feel the sense of relief and vigor from being able to take deep breaths of fresh, clean air. Greenberg and Malcolm (2002) have demonstrated that success in using such techniques as the empty chair are at least partially considered by the degree of emotional arousal experienced while the use of this technique. Here we can envisage that the client can be asked to imagine a dialogue, or in the case of complicated actors in the re-lived scenario, a conversation, where they can incorporate on aspects of themselves or others that are blocking their potential to decree past issues.

Many hypnotic techniques are relatively passive in that the client is asked to view an event, rather than to participate in it, but there is no conceptual imagine why this more active, approximately didactic approach could not come to be a more integrated aspect of hypnotherapeutic practice. Indeed, in clients who are able to speak whilst hypnotised it might allow the therapist even greater understanding of the experiences that the client is reliving, and for the therapist to take a more active, flexible role in directing the client's interactions.

As described earlier, Gestalt therapy makes use of experimentation in order for client's to taste new sensations, and to come to be aware of old patterns of responding. For this to work we are effectively asking the client to suspend disbelief, for example to suspend the idea that they cannot say something to their parent. This may be difficult for some clients, especially where they have developed strong conscious strategies to safe them from foreseen, negative outcomes. Hypnosis, by inducing an altered state of consciousness, may be able to circumvent these strategies, allowing the client to contemplate options in a safe fantasy world that is experienced as vivid and real. S/he can then contemplate conversations with others, actions etc that may not be considered options when in a non-hypnotic state.

As suggested earlier, this active participation of clients is not common, but there is no imagine why clients who have strong powers of visualisation cannot be directed under hypnosis to engage in experimentation. Usefully as a single scene can be replayed many times under hypnosis it allows the client to accomplish a variety of experiments and to compare and distinction the resultant emotions etc. Simply they can also be directed to pay close attention to the details of these new experiences, so that they can be vividly recalled post-hypnotically.

As Gestalt therapy is primarily implicated with the client's willingness to take responsibility, and the therapist's potential to design novel ways in which the client can come face-to-face with aspects of their life they have projected onto others, or denied control of, the main way in which hypnotherapy can incorporate aspects of Gestalt technique is twofold. Firstly hypnotherapeutic practitioners must be trained in Gestalt conceptual philosophy so they fully understand their role, and have the intuition and flexibility to carry it out in a range of situations and across a broad spectrum of clients. Secondly, just as Freud superior patients who were willing to accept his basic law of psychotherapy, maybe the hypnotherapist must be selective at consultation with clients who show a motivation to convert and a willingness to take responsibility for that change. Without these two features hypnotherapy cannot truly address "the key problem of population in our times...inner deadness" (Clinebell, 1981).

Do you know about - 6 Elements of Wellness

Physical Therapy Schools Georgia! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

We often feel that if we are not ill then we have wellness. I personally believe that there is more to wellness than just not being sick. First believe me that I no ifs ands or buts do not know everything, we'll leave that for the teenagers. The following article is more about the way I view life and the way I view Wellness. It is virtually all my view and you are free to agree or disagree with all or part, but if it makes you think about your own wellness and helps you evaluate your own elements of wellness then it is well worth it.

What I said. It is not outcome that the real about Physical Therapy Schools Georgia. You read this article for information on a person want to know is Physical Therapy Schools Georgia.

How is 6 Elements of Wellness

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Physical Therapy Schools Georgia.

When I speak of wellness I speak of more than just having a healthy body. True wellness to me includes equilibrium in the following six elements.

First is Fitness. That is physical fitness or we could say physical wellness. How well are you physically? The terms wellness and fitness are sometimes used interchangeably. I would certainly disagree with that. You can have a man that is very fit but quite unhealthy. I read not long ago where a pro basketball player who was highly physically fit died on the court because he had a heart condition. I would say that a man with a heart health does not fit being well. He had fitness but not wellness.

You cannot any way have wellness without at least some whole of fitness. That does not mean that you have to be able to run a marathon, play pro basketball or even ride a bicycle 100 miles in a day as I often do. That plainly means you have to be fit adequate to get your through a general workday. There are many that have problem doing that, citizen with what is known as fibromyalgia or those with chronic fatigue syndrome often have a great deal of problem just production it through the day.

But as I said before true total wellness revolves for me at least colse to 6 parameters or elements. The first we have just examined is the physical wellness or fitness. Here is how I define physical wellness. It is the potential to apply knowledge, motivation and commitment toward achieving a goal of being physically healthy and fit. This may want removing destructive behavior such as smoking, overeating, drinking, doing drugs or any whole of other incorrect behaviors while replacing them with behavior that is beneficial to your life and living. physical wellness would be enhanced by enhancing your diet and your practice program as well.

Social Wellness is the second element in my 6 elements theory. Public wellness I define as the potential to interact with others, originate and claim relationships and have friendships that last and heighten the potential of your live. My wife and I have been married for 36 years and will celebrate our 37th on September 18, 2007. If you look at some of the things we have done with our lives you may or not be impressed, but we did many of them plainly because we wanted to let citizen know where we stand and what we stand for. citizen that are socially well have friends they may not even know about. In 2000 and again in 2005 I did bicycle rides for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In late 2006 I was injured in a bicycle crash when I had to stop suddenly for a small child that ran into the road. The Cff citizen in Atlanta heard about it and sent me a get well card signed by the office staff and the coordinators. I do not know half of the names on the card, but they know me and Ruth. Socially well citizen are also active in the community, possibly church groups, book clubs or even the room of Commerce.

The third element in my ideas is Spiritual Wellness. My grandfather was a Cherokee Indian. He was not my grandfather by blood but the only grandpa I ever knew. He was highly "spiritual" and often told stories. I recently met a man named "Eagle Feather" that reminds me a great deal of my Grandpa "Gus." Of procedure Gus died many years ago not long after I returned from the Navy. Spiritual wellness means to me to originate your beliefs, values and actions, as well as lifetime goals, clear the mind and listen to your own thoughts. Riding the bicycle helps me a great deal with that. It is said that Einstein himself came up with the ideas of relativity while riding his bike. I am not Einstein but I do come up with some pretty good ideas when riding. It clears the mind and allows a free flow of information, sometimes.

The fourth element is Emotional wellness. Some citizen are on emotional roller coaster. To some degree we must deal with whatever life deals out. We cannot all the time control what life throws at us but we can all the time control how we react to it. We should learn how to deal with stress in a definite manner.

The fifth is intellectual wellness. We need to be able to adapt to various situations. We should all the time be increasing our knowledge. My father all the time told me that the day he stopped learning would be the day he died. I have to believe he was right, he passed away in 1978, he was born in 1900, and he worked oil fields in Texas, railroads in the Midwest and operated a very prosperous radio article player fix shop in Ohio. He was probably one of the most tantalizing men I knew and he got all the way to the 8th grade in school. He was big on instruction for me and my brother, and was very upset when my sister quit school. Intellectual wellness doesn't mean you need to be a genius, it just means that you open your mind are not afraid of learning new things and never be afraid of production a mistake. Embrace new ideas but query them too; it is also ok to query established ideas. Remember once all the most fantastic scientists view the earth was flat and the sun revolved colse to the earth. I remember reading that Alexander Graham Bell was jailed for trying to raise money for a new hair brained worthless invention called the "telephone" and Edison was thrown out of school because he was "too dumb to learn" or something like that.

The 6th and to some the most foremost is financial wellness. This is also the most elusive for many of us. When we think we have our finances under control an urgency comes up that causes us to borrow money and get us in debt. One man told me that 85% of the citizen of the Us was one illness away from going bankrupt. I would say based on my knowledge and my own financial health that this is probably a low estimate. With the whole of prestige card debt that most Americans carry and the cost of hospitals and guarnatee it would seem that financial safety is a very elusive element. It is one we should all strive for none the less. We should all start some sort of savings and resignation plan. It might be something through our jobs if we have one or if we are self employed we should set up whatever type of venture accounts that the government will allow. We should set a goal to pay off all of our bills and live on the money we make, not on prestige then work toward that goal.

There you have my six elements of wellness theory. Virtually all things in your life will fit into one or more of the six elements. You can if you wish also add sub elements under each element. Each of these elements has definite differences but they work together in a synergistic fashion so that he whole is bigger than the compound of it parts. They all complement each other and if you do not have wellness in all factions then you will not have true "wellness"
